Cheese Pizza

Instructions:

In a small container, combine yeast, water and sugar till the yeast has dissolved and let sit for approximately 15 min

Stir 1 cup flour, add salt and then stir another cup of flour

Dump the mixture onto the kneading board and use 1 cup of flour to make the dough soft and elastic

Coat the dough with about 1 tablespoon of oil

Place the dough in a bowl and let it rise for about 40 min

Punch and knead the dough for about 2 min

Combine pureed tomatoes, tomato paste, minced garlic and basil to make the sauce

Spread the sauce onto the pizza dough which is spread in a pan

Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and bake at 500°F for 11 – 13 min

Tips:

To avoid sticking crust, lightly spray the pan with oil

Chicken Lasagna

Instructions:

Combine chicken, onion and garlic in a large pot over medium heat

Stir and cook until cooked through and browned

Add remaining sauce ingredients

Bring to a simmer, reduce heat, and let it cook for at least 1 1/2 hours.

Depending on the lasagna noodles being used, cook pasta according to package directions

Make the ricotta mixture and shred mozzarella cheese

Layer sauce on the bottom of the pan, top with noodles followed by ricotta cheese mixture and sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese

Repeat the previous step several times until the wanted number of layers are achieved

Cover with foil and bake at 375°F

Tips:

Boil some water, pour them over the pasta and let them sit in a pan for an hour or so to avoid having broken pasta layers.
